ALDERSBROOK –V- BUSH HILL RANGERS

After the frustration of having two games called off in two weeks, the boys and I were looking forward to just playing football.  The game started and Bush Hill settled early on and we were creating the majority of chances. However, Aldersbrook’s defence held out until the 27^th minute when Danny put us 1-0 up after a long period of pressure.

At half time I told the boys to keep doing what they were doing as I felt we were well on top and it was only a matter of time before we added to our score.

As the second half started we continued to create with both our strikers causing their defence problems. We were rewarded after 37 minutes when Rishi made it 2-0.  We continued to work hard and a couple of minutes later added our third with a very well taken goal by Alex to make it 3-0.  After a few changes Aldersbrook began to creep back into the game and were denied a goal after 45 minutes with some brave goalkeeping by Taylan who punched clear from a corner.  Then after some more pressure Taylan launched a counter-attack with a good throw, Rishi sprung their off-side trap and slotted home for 4-0 after 46 minutes. 

The game went a bit flat after this with neither side in control and I think we got too comfortable near the end and Aldersbrook scored two goals with about four minutes to go.  We must learn to work hard and concentrate the whole game and this should keep our goal difference in the plus.

The boys worked hard all over the field today but once again our two centre backs stood out. They were both dominant and commanding.
