Having played Boca three times this season, we knew we were going to be involved in a physical and high-tempo game. As the game kicked off Tashan opened the scoring with practically our first attack of the game, 1-0 to Bush Hill.  Boca soon got over the shock and settled and chances were being created at both ends, but then with ten minutes to go Bush Hill were awarded a free kick, Baris sent in the cross, for Tashan to score and make it 2-0.  Both teams were still competing for every ball and the game was littered with free kicks for both sides, with moments to go before the break, Danny added our third, half time score 3-0 to Bush Hill.

As the second half kicked off Boca were on the attack, and for a few moments, the Bush Hill goal was being threatened.  However, the fighting spirit and organisation of our defensive unit soon sorted it out and Bush Hill were soon back to creating chances. After a quickly taken free kick, Ali found himself one-on-one with their keeper, who came flying out and flattened Ali, penalty to Bush Hill. Having been fouled Ali soon composed himself and coolly slotted home the penalty, 4-0 to Bush Hill.  The pressure was relentless on the Boca goal, Bush Hill were awarded a corner, Tommy drove the ball over for Baris to power home a header, making it 5-0. Straight from the kick off, the Bush Hill boys were slow to react to a quick move by Boca, who made the score 5-1.  The Bush Hill boys were still hungry for more, and after some more good work, Tashan made it 6-1.  In the dying seconds, Rodney’s pace and power was too much for the Boca defence and as he drove towards goal, he was hacked down in the penalty area, another penalty to Bush Hill.  Ali stepped up and once again sent the keeper the wrong way, final score 7-1 to Bush Hill.

Today’s Man Of The Match – Ali – Most of our good work came through him, always looked like a Man In Control!
