Straight from kick off Bush Hill created an early chance for Connor who was unlucky not to open the scoring. Freestyle responded but both James and Mitchell showed great strength and organisation to clear any danger.  Bush Hill were awarded a corner, and Halil delivered for Nazeem to score from close range, 1-0 to Bush Hill. It didn’t take long for Freestyle to start giving free kicks away and after a late challenge on Mohamed, just outside their penalty area, the referee eventually awarded a free kick, after initially trying to play an advantage, but there clearly was none!  Mohamed picked himself up, got the nod from me, stepped up and fired a shot that whistled past a crowded penalty area to make it 2-0 to Bush Hill, great goal!  By now chances were coming thick and fast with both Mohamed and Connor coming close.  Freestyle still managed the odd venture into our penalty area but they kept coming up against a determined Mitchell and James.  First half finished 2-0.

Straight from the re-start, Mohamed was causing Freestyle problems all over the park, with his attacking movement and his determined defending, he was clearly a handful for them and at times the only way they could stop him was to bring him down.  Our wingers were both playing well, and causing problems.  Midway through the second half, with the pressure mounting, Freestyle’s goal keeper, kicked his goal kick straight at Mohamed, who coolly stepped forward and passed the ball into the back of the net, 3-0 to Bush Hill.  Moments later Mohamed got his hat-trick, after some more good work, 4-0, at which point, I thought he deserved a bit of a rest, so he came off and was replaced by Kieran.  After a clearance by our defence, Kash found the ball at his feet and his back to their goal from inside our half.  He turned and drove at Freestyle’s goal, he had to skip a couple of late challenges, which he could have easily gone down for, however, he stayed on his feet, powered past their last defender and after running over half the length of the pitch, placed the ball past their keeper, 5-0, what a goal! By this time Freestyle’s only defence, was to continue to chop our boys down at every opportunity, and with seconds to go, after yet another late and high challenge on Nazeem, we were awarded a free kick.  This one was just as far out as the one in the first half, Nazeem placed the ball, took a few steps back and fired a thunderbolt that nearly ripped the net, another great strike, another great goal, 6-0 to Bush Hill, final score.
