WILLIAM FITT –v- BUSH HILL RANGERS

0                                      9

As the game kicked off, it took Bush Hill only a few minutes to have the first strike at goal with Danny just missing.  After some good wing play Tashan rose and headed towards goal, the ball hit the post and went in, 1-0 to Bush Hill.  William Fitt clearly had their backs to the wall from the start and it wasn’t long before Raphael added another to make it 2-0 to us.  At times the defending in their area became desperate and tackles were flying in, but the Bush Hill boys responded with shot after shot that at times looked like it would just not go in!  Rishi with his pace and crossing was causing mayhem and after some good work by him Alex’s long range effort was saved, the ball fell to Tommy who thundered a shot past their keeper making it 3-0 to Bush Hill.  The shots continued to rain down on their goal with their keeper making some outstanding saves.  Our wingers were on the rampage, another cross came in and Tashan got his second to make it 4-0. Seconds later after another good cross Rishi heads against the post and was unlucky not to score.  Just before half time Robin drove towards their goal but was fouled in the penalty area and we were awarded our first penalty of the season. Tashan placed the ball, stepped up and calmly finished, his hat-trick and 5-0 at half time.

As the second half kicked off Bush Hill continued to dominate and after a nice one-two with Robin and Rishi, Rishi scored making it 6-0. The hunger was still there as Tashan bravely challenged their keeper and defender for a fifty-fifty ball, after the collision which left both their players on the floor, Tashan calmly walked away. After a good run by Baris, the ball fell to Rishi who made it 7-0 to Bush Hill. The William Fitt defence had by now collapsed, they looked dazed and bruised.  Rishi added two more quick goals to make it 9-0, this was clearly a one-sided affair and once again if this was a boxing match, the Ref would have stopped it a long time ago, well done boys, you can only beat what is put in front of you, never stop believing and working hard!

Today’s Man Of The Match – Rishi – A great left winger, who can also get goals!
