BUSH HILL RANGERS –v- WILLIAM FITT

Once again today the boys were reminded that we had a job to do and to remain focused. As the game kicked off it wasn’t long before Bush Hill were dominating. After a good move Rishi made it 1-0.  The pressure on the William Fitt goal was immense, from a corner Ali made it 2-0. Bush Hill were camped in the William Fitt half and it wasn’t long before Tashan added our third, 3-0.  Soon after Tashan showed great pace to make it 4-0. By this time it was clear that the Bush Hill boys had too much for William Fitt, who were chasing shadows. Our domination was clear to see as Jamel powered forward and made it 5-0, with minutes to go to half time Tashan made it 6-0 after a fierce effort came back off the bar from Alex. 

At half time the boys were told to try and keep their shape and to continue to get the ball wide as our wingers were causing havoc. 

The second half kicked off and straight from kick off Baris bulldozed his way through a crumbling defence and made it 7-0. He added his second minutes later 8-0 to Bush Hill.  He was clearly pleased with himself, as he got his hat-trick to make it 9-0.  Although Bush Hill were scoring for fun, the William Fitt goalkeeper, believe it or not, was keeping the score down with a succession of saves, and for a while it looked like that would be the end of the scoring, until Rishi made it 10-0. Moments before the final whistle, Baris was rewarded with his fourth goal, final score 11-0 to Bush Hill.

As a Manager I like to win and you can only beat what’s put in front of you. Credit to the boys, they are doing what we have been working hard to achieve.  We must continue our focus and our commitment, whoever the opposition.
