This was the last game of the season and our focus before kick off was that we would like to win the league undefeated! The boys knew that they had a job to do today in order to achieve this. 

As the game kicked off it wasn’t long before the good football and teamwork from Bush Hill began to pay off.  After a good run and not for the first time this season, Rishi, put us ahead, 1-0 to Bush Hill.  Tashan soon made it 2-0.  Our passing and movement, along with our commitment was too much for Selwyn to handle and just before half time Danny made it 3-0. At half time I complimented the boys on their attitude and work ethic.

As the second half kicked off, it wasn’t long before the game took a physical turn.  For the first time Selwyn looked up for it, but the Bush Hill boys showed that if needed they could mix it too, and after a scrappy beginning to the second half, Tashan made it 4-0.  It wasn’t long before Tashan got his hat-trick to make to score 5-0 to Bush Hill.  The tackles were still flying in from both sides, and after a late challenge on Tommy, Bush Hill were awarded a penalty, Ali stepped up and coolly finished, making it 6-0 to Bush Hill. The scoring was finished off, after a great run by Baris, who powered the ball home, final score 7-0 to Bush Hill.

A great team effort once again, Well Done Boys!  You should be proud of what you have achieved this season, to win the League Title is a great achievement. To do it unbeaten, shows a great determination and team spirit.
