• Today we were up against another team that we haven’t met before and nobody was really sure what to expect. As the game kicked off it was soon clear that our passion, passing and movement was on show again today.  After only eight minutes Danny opened the scoring to make it 1-0. Boca responded with a heavy challenge by both of their front men on Taylan, who had to take a few minutes out to compose himself, and a couple of minutes later he was called into action again with a great save!  Boca were putting up a bit of a fight with our defence being called upon to clear on a few occasions. Our pace and movement upfront was clearly rattling Boca’s defence with both Rishi and Tashan coming close in quick succession. Bush Hill were rewarded a corner after some more good work by Robin who showed great determination and aggression to win it.  Rishi sent the corner over for Tashan to make it 2-0. Robin continued to create chances with his non-stop running and was rewarded just before half time with a great goal that left their keeper with no chance, 3-0 at half time.
• Today the boys were being coached by Ibs and this was his first game in charge of the boys.  His half time talk was about not being complacent and to keep working hard.  He made a few changes at half time.
• As the second half kicked off Bush Hill were in total control all over the park. After some more good work by Robin who was clearly enjoying himself, he got the ball to Tashan to make it 4-0. A few minutes later, Baris took the ball from his own area and drove at the heart of the Boca defence, leaving a few players in his wake.  He unleashed a fierce shot which was just about saved, only for Alex to follow up and make it 5-0.  Alex added another soon after, 6-0. Robin was not to be out done, as he scored from a great effort,  7-0 to Bush Hill, he then showed the boys how to celebrate in style with a cartwheel! – ‘Go Robin!’.  Bush Hill would not let Boca settle and after showing great strength and determination, Alex got his hat-trick! 8-0. The chances were coming thick and fast and Ali was unlucky not to be awarded a penalty, after being up-ended in their box!  Robin’s hat-trick soon followed 9-0.  Raphael made it 10-0, and number 11 came soon after for Tashan’s hat-trick!  In the dying seconds of the game, Boca were awarded a penalty! (I think Referee’s this season just like giving penalties against us, as we are yet to be awarded one!). What pleased me was that even though we were 11-0 up, the boys were very upset with the prospect of conceding a goal, but Taylan stood tall and Boca missed! Bush Hill boys celebrated this like a goal scored for us!  We are determined to give 100% every minute of every game! This attitude sums up the Bush Hill boys!
